APS Human Resources Chief Millicent Few Hands In Resignation

ATLANTA -- Millicent Few, the chief human resources officer of Atlanta Public Schools, has resigned, GA Daily News confirmed.

Few is the latest member of the school district to quit in the wake of a state investigation into widespread cheating.

School Board Chairman Brenda Muhammed told GA Daily News that Few submitted her resignation on Friday and it was accepted by the board on Monday night.

A source told GA Daily News that Few was seen leaving the school board building in tears last Thursday.

The state investigation named Few in an 800-page report on cheating stating, “On two occasions ordered those under her supervision to illegally destroy and alter public documents in order to hide evidence related to test cheating and misconduct. When asked about these matters, Ms. Few made false statements.”

Few’s position carried enormous power inside the administration because the school system’s internal investigations unit reported to her.

Channel 2’s Richard Belcher first reported in June that the former head of that unit accused Few of directing the destruction of documents related to an investigation into CRCT exam cheating two years ago.

WOW....a couple of months ago my interview with her ending with me in tears because she had been so rude to me regarding a non renewal situation...now to read that she left a meeting in tears??? Karma is a.....

This is whats wrong in America. Cheating and sandbagging to get resources that are not entitled to. It shows the up and coming generation of adults that "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't winnin'. That's why young adults think they are entitled to things without really earning them first.
Wasn't this practice part of the Fanny Mae flap by loaning money to non achievers to buy homes that they could no way in hell ever finish paying off? Put her in prison, do it tonight.
